Let v Indijo je trajal priblizno 7-8 ur. Ne vem zakaj tako, ampak pricakoval sem manj. V Delhiju smo pristali v megleno jutro. No ja, malo je bilo jutranje meglice, ostalo pa je bil dnevni smog. Zacuda, se celo prtljaga je prisla.

Tako. Prvi taksi do Bogdanovega stanovanja. Prvo ti pade v oci, da ni vazno kako izgleda avto in v kaksnem stanju je, vazno je samo, da ima delujoco hupo? Ko spreminjas smer, je predvsem vazno, da poslusal ali ti bo kdo zadaj hupal?Kot v vedno v tretjem svetu, je tudi tu pravilo mocnejsega?Drugo na kar ratas pozoren, pa so njihova oblacila. Ja, res smo pristali sredi zime, ampak nisem pricakoval oblecenih v bunde, kape in z rokavicami. Toliko hladno pa res ni, saj je zjutraj okoli 10C. Meni ni hladno? In ko tako spremljas promet iz avta opazis, da ima vse eno svojo logiko. Sicer tezko razumljivo, ampak logika je… Popoldne obisk Dilli Hata. Trznice s spominki in restavracijami iz cele Indije. Cisto OK, da dobis malo pregled koliko kaj stane in kaj je znacilnost kaksne izmed regij?

So… if there is no ice, and you would like to climb steep rocks? No problems, just get your gear, including ice axes and crampons and go climbing. It’s called dry tooling…

And yes, people are even having competitions in dry tooling… Yes, Slovene ice climbing cup 2005/2006 has started…

Murchison Falls National Park, with 3,840 square kilometers is Uganda’s largest National Park. The park is cut in half by the Nile and its landscape varies from dense rainforest on the hilly ranges in the South-West, to undulating savannah in the North-West. The forest shelters many primate species, including Chimpanzees, while the river attracts various Antelopes, Buffalos, Rothschild-Giraffes and Elephants. Every little bay of the Nile rivers seems to be occupied with their bubbling and snorting sounds.On sandbanks huge crocodiles bask in the sun, and along the shores one can often spot elephants, giraffes, buffalos. Hippos can be counted in hundreds.

These gentle giants are slowly recovering from the brutal slaughter they suffered during the civil wars, when they were used as moving targets for the army’s artillery.

Its very difficult to make a selection of the best photos… After 4000+ shot photos i tried to minimize everything just to 15-20 photos… And probably even not the best ones… But still… worth a try.

I tried mainly to focus on people and animals.

Za popotnika in navdušenega fotografa je verjetno najlaže dosegljiv in najbolje organiziran ogled gorskih goril v Ugandi, ki je med tremi naštetimi
politično najbolj stabilna in varna država (gorske gorile najdemo v naravi samo še v Kongu in Ruandi). Dostop do nacionalnih parkov pa je vse prej kot preprost, saj leži
življenjski prostor gorskih goril na enem izmed najbolj odročnih območij Afrike…
